Life at the barn isn’t always grand. Sometimes it’s really hard work, exhausting, dusty, loud, interesting, down-right hilarious, and often just plain stinky. However; I’m so glad God gave me the heart to love this life. I’m so glad I don’t miss out on the prettiest sunsets, the sound of horses running to the trough at feed time, all the dogs waiting at my feet for a treat, watching the horse training progress each day, the pups chasing each other, and the crickets singing at night.
I got some new shots of Erik, Kirsten, and Dawton training for their upcoming show. It was a beautiful, sunny, blue sky day.
We had a lot of fun, but not as much fun as Dally and Gus.
It’s simple days like this when I’m most thankful for life at the barn. What are you thankful for today, friend?

I wouldn’t mind seeing pretty sunsets and riding horses. Despite the hard work, the barn life sounds appealing lol! Awesome pictures of the horses. I’m thankful for family and new opportunities. I’ll be starting my first semester at Liberty University soon, so it will be an exciting new chapter of my life! Hope you’re enjoying your summer. 🙂

It is certainly hard work, but worth it at the end of the day! Hope school is going well for you. This is such a busy season for us, but always something to be thankful for.
