Hey, y’all! I’m Fallon, but since you’re here now, we’re friends and you can call me Fal.
I’m a southern girl, born and raised in a small town in South Carolina. I come from a big family. I have a FULL time job as a hairstylist at a local salon. It keeps me very busy. Which leads me to…I met my hunk of love in the salon I worked at years ago. We were married November 2012. He is my main man. I adore him and our pups, Jax + Dally. They are my heart. Most importantly, I am saved by grace. I believe Christ died for my sins on the ol’rugged cross. I also believe my purpose on this earth is to share my love for God. He is the light of my life.
Southern Detour is a life + style blog filled with some encouragement, lots of adventures, tons of coffee, and the occasional cowboy. There is so much to tell, so I do hope you will tune in. I am going to try to keep it as real as possible {the good, the bad, and the ugly}. I am so excited for you to join me as I document my life’s journey, southern style.

Yay! After reading this I am even MORE excited I found your blog! haha. Finding a good blog is fun, but a good blog to read where the blogger loves Jesus is even better!
By the way, don’t you love blogging? I know my blog is “new” but the reason it’s new is because several months ago I deleted my old one and completely stopped. I didn’t have time to blog anymore and silly me hit the DELETE button. ha. I missed it so much I came back and started from scratch. It’s so much fun “meeting” people from around the world.

Thank you so much! You are too kind! I completely agree! It does take up so much time. I still feel fresh to the game as well. I’m almost a year into it! It has flown by though. The blog definitely keeps me on my toes. Thank you for reading along!
